I'm Neil Callen, a seasoned professional with a rich background in coaching, people development, and leadership, with a track record of achieving significant milestones and driving positive change in diverse professional settings. I have successfully guided clients ranging from FTSE100 corporations to charities, fostering self-awareness and development through personalised sessions.
As a Business Consultant at an educational awarding body, we achieved a remarkable 20% improvement in the Gallup Q12 employee engagement survey. My impact encompassed coaching the Senior Management Team, designing and delivering global development programs. Prior to this, as a Global Employee Learning Partner, I was responsible for upskilling 5,000 employees.
My leadership journey includes a significant tenure as the Head of Investors in People at a global learning company, where I led the transformation from Bronze to Gold Investors in People accreditation. That involved influencing the UK Senior Leadership Team and leading a virtual team of 80 Champions to facilitate growth, collaboration, and problem-solving, with measurable outputs.
Educationally, I hold a Upper Second BA Hons degree in History and Geology, and I possess several professional qualifications, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from Henley Business School. I'm a member of the International Coaching Federation and the British Psychological Society.
Beyond my professional achievements, I actively contribute to the coaching field through podcasts and thought leadership events. I've coached individuals across diverse sectors and played a key role in engaging businesses with education charities. Most recently I have co-led a pioneering group menopause coaching for female employees.
Outside of work, my interests include sports, fitness, film, and gardening. I am a dedicated runner and cyclist, a film enthusiast who has contributed to film festivals worldwide, and a passionate gardener with a regular vlog documenting my journey from entry level to experienced teacher, using my learning to inform my coaching practice.
